Fresh ingredients are delivered daily and prepped from scratch in our kitchen; from butchering meat and filleting fish to freshly baking all our bread and cakes each morning and making indulgent sweets like our Ayrshire cream toffee (perfect with a pot of tea).

If you haven’t got time for a sit-down lunch and are looking for something to enjoy on the move, our homemade sourdough-base rolls from the window are the ideal choice. Served Monday through Friday from 12noon:

12-hour slow-roast Galloway beef with kohlrabi, apple and caraway slaw
Hand-picked Devon crab with fennel and radish, and a homemade cocktail sauce

INGREDIENTS AND SUPPLIERS

Trusted suppliers include Dylan Bean of Kernow Sashimi, a small family-run business specialising in sustainable, day-boat-caught fish from the Helford; Mary Holbrook, who delivers goat’s cheese from her farm in Bath and kid meat when it’s in season; Nick and John of Paddock Farm who hand-rear rare-breed Tamworth pigs in Warwickshire; and Ben Weatherall, a farmer and game expert who rears Galloway cattle in South West Scotland.
